Whilst checking for any decay, or sign of gum disease, your Hygienistwill also identify any other issues that will affect your heath and overall wellbeing.

Once you have had your assessment, treatment will begin with primarypolishing and scaling. This will remove any plaque and tartar and preventdiseases such as gingivitis and periodontitis. Both diseases cause severediscomfort and in the case of advanced gum disease, can even result in losingteeth.
