At Confidental our mission is to Work together to care for our patients. For us to be able to do this as effectively as possible we would like to minimise any cancelled or missed appointments.
Efficient use of our available appointments and time allows us to continue offering emergency treatments, hygienist visits, check-ups, and treatment appointments promptly.
At Confidental we follow a Cancellation and Missed Appointment Policy in order to ensure that patients have access to care with minimal delay. We strive to accommodate our patients’ needs, and your cooperation in adhering to your scheduled appointments is greatly appreciated.
Cancellation Policy:
We understand that unexpected circumstances may arise, requiring adjustments to your scheduled appointments. We kindly ask that you provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us to offer the appointment slot to other patients in need of dental care.
If you cancel an appointment without providing 48 hours' notice, you may be subject to a fee. We will endeavour to follow up with you by e-mail along with a copy of this policy. Short Notice Cancellations are charged at £2 for every minute of the appointment that was missed
Missed (No-Show) Policy:
When a patient fails to attend a scheduled appointment without prior notification, it disrupts our schedule and prevents us from serving other patients in need of dental appointments.
If you miss an appointment without providing advance notice, you may be subject to a fee. We will endeavour to follow up with you by e-mail along with a copy of this policy. Failed to Attend fees are charged at £2 for every minute of the appointment that was missed.
For first-visit appointments where a prepayment is taken, failure to attend or cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice will also result in the forfeiture of the appointment deposit.
We do not provide refunds for cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice or for missed appointments. It is our aim to telephone or write to patients after a missed appointment to understand the reason for nonattendance and to inform them about any fee.
If you are enrolled to Confidental’s Membership Plan – Cancelled and Missed Appointments are usually addressed with a forfeit of your appointment on the occasion.
Policy Enforcement:
To maintain fairness and efficiency in our practice, our cancellation and failed to attend policy will be enforced consistently for all patients. Naturally we understand that emergencies and unforeseen circumstances can arise. If you encounter such a situation, please contact us as soon as possible, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Rescheduling:
If you need to reschedule your appointment, please contact our office at your earliest convenience on 01252 877 309 or info@confidentalsmiles.co.uk We will work with you to find a new appointment time that fits your schedule.
